Job Description

Our client: A leading distributor in the consumer goods industry is looking out for a Key account manager to join their team in Bahrain.

Your role: The role of the key account manager in Bahrain is to lead, manage, and motivate the entire key account team to meet the established organizational goals for the MT channel. He will make sure all MT stores consistently meet 100% availability, visibility, and merchandising requirements while exceeding the annual sales goals. The Key account manager is responsible for preparing, negotiating, and finalizing annual business development agreements with customers within the agreed time frame. The management of the sales team and merchandisers is crucial, with the need to control, direct, and monitor all activities to ensure maximum performance. Quarterly promotional plans are developed, coordinated, and implemented in collaboration with the country manager and product management team. Monitor and implement the non-compliance procedure, maintain warehouse stock, Lead, and direct logistic operations in relation to key accounts.

Must have: Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of experience in Modern Trade within the consumer goods industry, preferably on the distributor side. Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proven track record of successfully managing key accounts and building strong relationships. Strong leadership and team management skills are essential for the role. Looking for a young and ambitious candidate who is hungry to grow with the company.
